Once the excitement of Halloween is over –

Join us for this fun and Earth-helpful Pack event!

Who: All Pack 23 Cub Scouts and their families

What: The Annual FermiLab Volunteer Prairie Seed Harvest

        Lunch is provided by the hosting organization!

More details:           

When: Saturday, November 2 - 10 AM - 11:30 or so

            (event runs from 10 AM to 2 PM)

 Where: FermiLab – Batavia


            When you enter Fermi, follow signs to the seed collection area.

            Check-in with Kevin Brubaker at seed collection parking.

 Why: To help restore the native tallgrass prairie at Fermilab

& fulfill one of the Leave No Trace requirements

“4. Participate in a Leave No Trace-related service project.”

How: Scouts should wear their uniform shirts, and everyone should dress for the weather,         with good walking shoes.

Bring work gloves, hand clippers (for gardening), if you have them, and paper bags. 

ACCESS RESTRICTIONS are subject to change. Currently, visitors are required to            show driver’s license.

Remember: No need to RSVP, but be sure to check in with Kevin once you arrive –

to get credit for the Leave No Trace requirement

AND to receive a special brag vest patch at the next Pack meeting!
