A few news items:

LAST CALL FOR RECRUITING CREDIT

The boys did a great job inviting new boys to join the pack!

Current list of Recruiters for our Rally Night is on documents page.

Please let me know if there are any additions by 10 AM Thursday 9/26.

Please also reply to verify whether your son’s guest(s) joined the pack.

APPS - $ - HANDBOOKS

Hopefully we can get all applications and fees collected on Thursday.

Only new Cub Scouts need to fill our apps.

Everyone pays the $100 yearly registration fee.

Be sure to let me know if you would like to set up a reduced fee/payment plan.

If you cannot attend Thursday, please drop apps/fees in my mail slot at 836 S. Lombard – by 9 AM Friday, if possible!

Stop over at Brian’s garage: 1024 S. Elmwood.

Flyer with popcorn dates and info attached.

PACK WEBSITE!!!

Chad Bohlmann has set up a great web site for the pack! (Many thanks, Chad!!!)

Take a look at www.Pack23OakPark.org

We will be filling in with more info as time goes on.

The official calendar will be kept on the website, and many informational documents will be accessible there.

Advancement (tracking your son’s requirements) will be done at Cub Trails – with a link on the pack web site.

See your den leader for log in info.

YOUR CHANCE TO HELP THE PACK GO

To make a pack run without burning out the pack leadership, we need to spread the wealth of responsibility around.

If each parent does one job, no one will have to do TOO much.

We will have sign-ups at the pack meeting for committees to manage our various pack projects and events.

Duties range from setting up Blue and Gold Dinner decorations to judging the finish line at the Pinewood Derby.

The jobs are fun, and they make all our jobs easier!

As always, please let me know if you have any questions.

Helen
